The door opened before Lolita could find where her key was. She looked up from her rummaging, glancing over the girl. She must be her roommate, Kylie... and possibly, her rival. She was dressed for some kind of work, and judging by the paint smudges on her fingers it was art. That was kind of nice. She quite liked art, though she didn't draw herself. She didn't look like much though. Cute, shorter then herself and more tanned. Alot of more tanned. She gave off the friendly vibe of a people-person. That was nice too. So long as she didn't expect Lolita to be one too. She smiled at what seemed to an attempt at a welcoming joke. If not for that wink she might have found it funny. She didn't pass any comment though, not wanting to ruin the light-hearted mood.
"Thanks. I'm Lolita Due."She replied, walking in confidently and letting her backpack fall on to the floor before one of the beds. Another one also looked lived in. Did she have two roommates then? She looked around curiously, becoming engrossed in her surroundings. Soon, she noticed the snake on the bed. She flinched for a second, surprised. Looking at it more closely, it didn't look like a poisoninous species. "Your pet?"She asked, pointing at the green snake which was entangled with the folds of the duvet. She was rather apathetic towards snakes. They didn't bother her, but she didn't particularly like them either. Though, if it crawled over her in her sleep, she couldn't be blamed if it were found to be a new curtain rope by morning.

Vix chuckled lightly at Kylie. "It seems every girl I meet lives here, not my fault. " He shrugged, stepping inside. He immediately sat on the bed next to Kink and pet her gently. He glanced at the isle and back to Kylie. "Painting, huh?" He admired the work of art she'd been working on and smiled. He'd forgotten the new girl was even there. He picked up Kink and watched as she slithered down his arm. "Goodness Kylie, you could be an artist... Is there anything you're not good at? " He asked chuckling. He looked back to Lolita, as she surveyed the room. "So when would you like to have your tour? Do you want to unpack anything first or do you want to go ahead and go now?" He glanced back to Kylie. "Kylie knows the school better than I do, would you mind if she comes along?"

"Sure it's not, Vix," Kylie laughed as she shut the door. She smiled and nodded as Lolita asked about Kink.
"Yup, that's Kink. Don't worry, though, she's very friendly. Kink won't hurt you," she assured the girl. Luckily, Lolita didn't appear to be frightened by Kink, which was a good thing. Kylie wasn't sure she could live with someone who was scared of snakes, because there was no way she would get rid of Kink.
She grinned and blushed as Vixen looked over her painting. It wasn't really a special painting; Kylie had just woken up that morning and felt like painting a sunset. It certainly wasn't one of her best. "Oh, no, really, it's nothing..." she muttered, looking away as her face turned red at Vix's praise. She usually didn't let anyone see her artwork, besides her family, so getting the compliment was both embarrassing and somewhat pleasing at the same time.
Kylie forgot her embarrassment when Vixen mentioned taking the other girl on the tour. "I'm up for giving a little tour if you want. Of course, if you two just want to get to know each other better, that's fine, too. I'm sure Lolita and I can get to know each other in here. Goodness knows we'll need to eventually, since we'll have to live with each other for at least a year," she laughed.

Lolita was struggling to maintain her cool and unconcerned look. There was totally something going on here. Vixen had completely forgotten she even existed. Rather, he was intrigued by the girl's picture. It was pretty, she wouldn't deny that, but still. So was she. She cringed inside when he suggested Kylie come along for the tour. She hoped it didn't show on her face. For the sake of being polite she'd have to agree. It would be a good way to get to know them both and see just how close they were. She could figure out an easy way to make sure nothing further developed too...
"Hm, sure. It'd be nice to have Kylie along as well."She replied, smiling sweetly. "And I'm sure I'll get to know you too Kylie... Though alot of people have considered me... well, difficult. I'll warn you now." She added, even with a little laugh. Again, not wanting to spoil the mood. She probably should really warn the girl that she'd could easily find herself with shattered bones if she crossed Lolita at the wrong moment.

Vix smiled. He sat Kink back down, and stood up. He looked back and forth between the two girls. Both were acting friendly and smiling but he could tell only one was sincere. Lolita didn't like Kylie... Well, more like she didn't like that Vix liked Kylie. He couldn't quite figure out why. Something told him getting on Lolita's bad side was not a good idea. He figured he'd pay just a bit more attention to her, and hope that Kylie wouldn't be upset. He doubted she would, she didn't seem to like him as any more than a friend anyway. "So, where are we touring first?" He questioned, looking from one girl to the other. He hoped they'd get to talking and leave him out of it. He could see drama starting if Lolita saw something between him and Kylie that she didn't like so he thought best to stay away from everything that could lead to that.

Kylie, so used to always seeing the good in absolutely everyone that she could see it in, didn't really realize that Lolita wasn't really very sincere in her happiness, though she had an odd sense that something was off about the girl. She dismissed the feeling and smiled cheerfully at the other girl as she waved a dismissing hand.
"Oh, I'm sure they were just exaggerating," she said kindly, "I bet we'll get along just fine." Picking up her snake, she slipped Kink back into her enclosure.
"It's just for now, princess, and you can come out when I get back," she cooed to her pet. At Vix's question, she shrugged.
"Well, I guess wherever Lolita would like to go first, although I suggest getting through the building as quickly as possible and then moving on to the grounds, since the grounds are way more interesting than the school. Except maybe the library. Where do you want to go, Lolita?" she asked the other girl. Suddenly, Kylie realized what had been bugging her before. Kink hadn't really seemed to act all the friendly to Lolita.
She trusted her snake's judgement, and under more careful scrutiny, she could see that Lolita was only faking the politeness. Something Kylie was doing was annoying the girl, but she couldn't figure out what it was.
She glanced down at her pants. They had many paint splatters on them, and Kylie cringed inwardly. "Just wait to leave till I change, okay?" she asked, grabbing a change of clothes and slipping into the bathroom. When she came out, she was wearing clean jean shorts and a tank top, a tie tied loosely around her neck as though it was a necklace. Her hair was still up, since she didn't really feel like taking the time to let it down and brush it all. "Alright, ready to go when you are!" she announced cheerfully.

Lolita watched Kylie put the snake away, talking to it as she did. She struggled not to smirk, having long since given up things like that -mostly because she hadn't had a pet since her parents died. She wasn't sure if she'd still speak to one if she had a pet now, or even a year or two ago. Before she could dwell on it any longer, Kylie spoke again, saying she should decide where they go.
"Well I don't mind much. I don't know what there's to see anyway so..."She shrugged. She'd like to see something interesting and get to grips with how get around the school, but otherwise she wasn't too concerned. Looking out the window she could see the sun was shining brightly and warmly, "It'd be nice to be outside more, since it's so nice."She suggested. All the places she'd lived were generally quite dull and rainy. The sunshine was something of a novelty.
As Kylie went to change, she could tell the girl had enough sense to realize Lolita was acting. She was trying to be genuine, but it wasn't something she did easily. Once the girl had returned, she walked back into the corridor and looked up and down it, while she waited for the other two to join her. All in all, they seemed like people she could get along with well enough. Kylie was a little.. optimistic, but it didn't hurt to hopeful everyone once in a while.

Vix nodded and stepped outside into the corridor with Lolita, waiting for Kylie to come too. "We could start with the fields" he suggested when Lolita said she wanted to get outside. Vix wasn't much for spending time outdoors, but it was a nice day and some fresh air wouldn't kill him. He tilted his head to show which way to go that would be the fastest and took a half step in that directions. He was still hoping Kylie and Lolita would start talking so he could stay out of it but it didn't look very likely. Kylie was friendly and if Lolita didn't already seem to have something against her they probably would've hit it off but something just wasn't right between the two, and Vix couldn't figure out what. And from the look on Kylie's face, she couldn't either.

Kylie joined the two in the corridor, still confused as to why Lolita seemed to dislike her so much. She'd never really gotten close to a guy before, so the thought that Lolita might be jealous of hers and Vixen's friendship had never really crossed her mind. Kylie thought that perhaps Lolita just thought she was a little too clingy, so the girl decided to distance herself from her new roommate a little bit.
"The fields are as good as any other place to start," Kylie agreed, trying to decide which way to head out to the fields. She figured that going right would be best, so with a 'follow me' hand gesture she led her way down the hallway and out the double doors at the end of the corridor. She squinted in the sun, shading her eyes with one hand as she turned around to face the other two.
"Well, these are the practice fields," she said with a sweep of her arm, walking backwards now.

[lame reply shall be lame.]
Lolita followed them out to the pratice fields. "That's uuh.... nice."She said, looking about. They looked good enough to pratice martial arts at any rate. Then, just about anywhere is, the worse the terrain the better, in her opinion.
"So, what kinds of clubs are there here?"She asked as she began to walk along one of the paths which lead around the fields and towards some other place. She didn't know where yet, but it seemed like an okay place to start moving. Looking at these two, Kylie seemed the sort to be in some arty groups and probably some to do with meeting lots of people. Neither would interest her. Vix, she couldn't read quite so easily. Reading perhaps? She didn't mind reading, but she wouldn't sit all day and read. She'd need to get up and run around a field and throw some punches somewhere in between.

Vix stepped outside, keeping his head down to keep from seeing the brightness of the sun. He shrugged when Lolita asked about clubs and kept walking. He stretched out his wings a bit, walking backwards so the sun was behind him. A strand of his hair fell in front of his face, the sun hitting it just right to give it a purpley blue hint. He blew upwards, throwing it back out of his face. He smiled at Lolita and Kylie. He couldn't tell who he was focused on, or if it was either of them at all. He turned around, putting his wings back down. He followed the path that lead around the fields with Lolita, assuming Kylie was coming too. "We could go to the main office and ask about them." He suggested, still thinking of any clubs there might be. He hadn't been interested in any so he hadn't looked into it.

"Hmmm, clubs?" Kylie pondered aloud. She hadn't really looked up any of the clubs they had at school, mainly because the only thing she would've really liked was an art club, and art was one of the few things that she preferred to do on her own. She liked being at least mostly alone while she worked, which was why she couldn't handle being in an art club.
"I guess I don't know what clubs they have here... but yeah, there will probably be some information on them at the office, if you want to go look there," she replied finally, returning Vixen's smile with one of her own. "I think I saw a sign up sheet for one somewhere in the hallway once, though... martial arts, or something like that. Do you like martial arts, Lolita?" she asked. It seemed like the sort of thing the other girl might like, considering her mild hostility towards Kylie that the girl still didn't understand. She made up her mind to ask Lolita about it later.

For a moment, neither of them seemed to know anything. Both anti-social then? She was a little surprised Kylie would be like that... she could see in her face she was the outgoing sort. The office didn't sound like a bad idea though.
"Hm? Oh, Yeah. Totally do."Lolita replied, blushing a tad when Kylie asked her about martial arts. How'd she guess that though? Her fist caught her eye, which was still a little red. Had Vix mentioned that? She was sure he hadn't but... She'd kind of wanted to keep it a little more quiet for now. Let it leak out with news of how some kid got beat up. Then no one would question her. "And if you've a problem with it, I'll happily beat you unconscious."She added. Lots of people found it strange or weird that she'd like something so violent, well until they got to know her reputation for beating people up and delinquency. Then they figured it made sense and certaintly never complained. Least, not to her face. Again, she noticed the little glances between the two. They were jus a little too awkward to be 'just friends'

Vix looked at Lolita and wrinkled his eyebrow at her. "Why would you want to beat anyone, or anything? It's not very nice. I know it sounds a bit cliche, but violence really isn't the answer. War is just what angry, powerful men do to sacrifice the lives of the innocent, and prove they are the dominate rulers. And it's always been like that, and the display of it only encourages it when it is completely unnecessary." He glared slightly. "You don't seem to be the type to listen to authority, but you're only conforming and molding yourself to fit in with modern day society, which is filled with nothing but horribly angry, violent, disrespectful, people who don't know what the word peace means. It's quite untasteful." He smirked, "I bet a lot of the anger comes from your obvious lack of a boyfriend, but the initial anger in the reason for it."

Lolita let Vix say his piece. She'd heard all this before, the love your neighbour, violence is not the answer and such. She had to admit she'd never kill anyone with violence -or any other way. She already knew the pain and fear that came with murder. No, she simply liked to use it to solve problems and release some anger. It was the latter part of his speech that took her attention.
So apparently she was comforist? She'd not heard that one before. What did take her attention was that he was clearly against violence... not such a compatible trait in someone she wanted to make hers.
"What?!" She turned on him, glaring up, her red eyes alight with rage. She searched for words. Clearly he was trying to wind her up. Probably to pick a fight, in the thinking that his height and natural strength as a guy would make him win. Of course she knew how to take him down though. That wouldn't be a problem at all. However, if he disliked violence, that wouldn't quite be right, would it? ".....What's it to you?"She asked finally, keeping her tone straight and even. She made herself at least appear to relax a little and not stand so tensely.
