Kylie was a bit taken aback at Lolita's hostile reply. She'd just asked if the girl liked martial arts. That was all she'd done, and she really didn't see how that allowed for her to act so meanly. Her eyes widened in surprise as she observed the scene between Vixen and Lolita unfold. Though for the most part she agreed with Vix, she did feel that he was being a little judgmental on the girl, and since she hated verbal arguments just as much as she hated physical fights, she decided that for the sake of peace, she was going to take Lolita's side on this one.
"Hey, now, Vix," she said tentatively, raising an index finger, "Don't you think you're being a little harsh? After all, martial arts training is also an excellent form of exercise, is not always performed on human beings, and is a useful skill to use as self defense. It's also a good stress reliever." She wasn't trying to kiss up to Lolita; really, she wasn't. She really felt that Vix was being a bit unfair and unaccepting of someone who just had different tastes than himself.

Vix turned his attention to Kylie. "I don't have a problem with martial arts, she's the one who threatened to beat someone unconscious, which I do have a problem with." He turned his attention back to Lolita, and forced her to calm, making sure she wouldn't get too angry. "There's enough violence in this world. Don't join in." Was all that escaped his lips. He looked at her silently for a moment. He didn't feel the need to say anymore. He looked back at the path they were walking on, and started walking forward again. He didn't care much if either of them followed him at this point. He just wanted to keep going. Vix knew that he wasn't going to stand there and keep arguing with her. If she was going to keep arguing with him, that was fine, but he wouldn't fight back. He'd made his point clear.

Lolita ignored Kylie. She wasn't sure what she was playing at, whether it was trying to be friends with her, or something else, but she didn't seem too serious. The way she said.. just sounded so.. weak? She might have laughed, had she not had her attention to Vix. She could pass the "beat you unconscious" bit off as a joke. It almost was, but she really could and really would. No point lying about it.
However, before she could think of a good retort, Vixen was walking off. She scowled after him, weighing up her options. If she beat him up, then she'd almost never get him to like her, which would mean she'd instantly lose to Kylie. It would also prove his point and get her in trouble on her first day. She wanted to create an image of a relatively nice girl. Beating up the kid who was showing her around the school on day one would not help to create that image.
"Whatever."She finally replied, stalking on, still clearly in bad humour. Thus far these two seemed like hard work.

Kylie remained where she was for a moment, her eyes flicking between Lolita and Vixen momentarily before she sighed and followed the other two with resignation. She thought back wistfully to her still unfinished painting, and had to resist the urge to sigh again. She was beginning to wish that she hadn't agreed to go on this tour with the other two. She'd been perfectly happy in her dorm room, with nothing around but her snake, her paint, and her canvas. Now she was trapped in some odd three-way battle, and she wasn't even sure what they were fighting over. Lolita was making it rather obvious that she didn't really like Kylie, and even Vixen was treating her strangely. The whole thing was confusing to the girl, and so she followed silently, hoping not to get involved in any more arguments between the two. She'd learned her lesson the first time.

Vix looked around, still walking. "Where to next?" He asked, unknowing of where to go to now. The awkward tension was building between the three and it was driving him insane. He had broke the silence, but it was up to Kylie and Lolita to see if it remained or was gone. They could both ignore him, which wouldn't help the situation but there wasn't much Vix could do about that, other than ask again.
He kept walking as he waited on a reply. They both seemed to be daring the other to speak up. He glanced down at his feet, wondering exactly what had caused this mess. He could fix it... Well, try to. But that could end in both of them figuring out what he could do, and then they might doubt that they were having feelings of their own for the entire time they were with him. And that would most likely end badly.

Kylie looked around, trying to decide where would be the best place to go. There wasn't much on campus to see outside, so she supposed it would probably be best to head back in.
"Let's head to the pool, and then we can swing by the gym," she suggested, moving slightly ahead of the other two with quick steps. She wasn't sure what else to say to either Vixen or Lolita. It was clear that Lolita didn't like her at all now, and Vixen seemed rather surly as well. She was hesitant to bring up the clubs thing again, since she felt that might upset them. So the girl cleared her throat.
"Do you like swimming, Lolita? 'Cause if you do, besides the pool there's also a beach really close by. The people from town rarely come to the half of the beach nearest the school, so you wouldn't have to worry about anyone being rude to you there."
