Appearance

~Hair: Dark brown, very wavy and falls at around her mid-

~Body Type: Tall and slim, often mistaken to be under-weight

~Wing Description: Small, light grey angel wings, right
wing has a tiny black star about the size of a penny near the
longest tip
~Tattoos/piercings/scars: Pierced ears, and a small, 5cm
long scar on the back of her hand
~Dress style: Monet's dress style varies from somewhat
childish to very adult-like and sophisticated... some of her outfits
tend to get her some unwanted attention. She much prefers
simple things, jeans, hoodies, cardigans, sometimes even
blouses at a stretch. She loves to accessorize, and sometimes
walks around with no shoes on.
~Short Description: Monet is quite a pretty girl, even if she
doesn't think so herself. Her dark hair compliments her pale skin
tone well, and she is moderately tall, skinny, and incredibly agile.
She has always been a lightweight, weighing in at 90lb, give or
take. Her wings are small, and angel-type, a pretty shade of
light grey. She has a tiny, penny-sized black star permenantly
stained onto the left wing at the end of the longest tip, from
when she got a friend to make a little shape on one of the wings
with Indian ink. Monet is the type of girl to worry over her
appearance every morning for at least an hour, so she is
frequently late.
Personality
~Likes: The unique-ness of her wings (the little star),
the night sky, having a good time with friends, clothes-shopping.
~Dislikes: People outside of the school making fun of her,
Maths, people saying she is "under-weight" and calling her
anorexic (which she most certainly is not, the girl loves her
food...), being away from her friends.
~Hobbies: Gymnastics, singing, drawing.
~Quirks: Contortionism, has a habit of eating things that
aren't food if she gets nervous or stressed without even
realising it, sometimes talks to people that aren't there.
~Flaws: Slight attachment issues, can't always tell right
from wrong, can become very insensitive in a bad mood.
~Personality: Overall, Monet is a very friendly person. She
loves nothing more than to be with her friends, though she can
turn very nasty when she wants to. She is very gentle and
loving, with the patience of a saint. Even though she hates to
admit it she is a terrible gossip, treating every rumour she hears
as if it's made of pure gold. Monet is painfully aware that she is
different to people outside of Galaxium Academy, and she really
just wonders why people don't understand her and other
people with wings. She has the naievity of a child, and is very
gullible, so don't leave her alone in a dark alleyway...
History

would do anything for her.
~Dad: Jake Miro, 38, policeman, hates Monet for her
wings, thus has completely disowned her.

Peter Miro, 13, 8th grade, claims to hate Monet, but secretly

~Background: Monet was born in New York City, to Jake
and Niamh Miro, only for them to find that their beautiful first
born daughter had wings. Her father instantly rejected her as
his daughter, and wanted to nothing to do with her, however,
Monet's mother saw beyond her baby's wings and loved her
dearly. She grew up in NY, attracting a lot of unwanted attention
due to her wings, and was bullied frequently. When her mother
grew tired of her daughter coming home from school in tears,
she was sent away to Galaxium Academy in California. Her
mother had heard of the school specially for children with wings,
and managed to secure her a place. So nine-year-old Monet Miro
left her twin siblings, mother, and hateful father behind to
attend the school. Her confidence blossomed, and even if she
missed her family, she never looked back.
~Role Play Sample: aziesikah sat on the sofa tensely,
sipping a glass of red wine. tonight was one of the rare nights
she would spend with her beloved boyfriend of four years, jack
vitalone. they were always so busy, they couldn't always spend
as much time together as they would have liked. when jack
wasn't with one of the bands, or when aziesikah wasn't
recording, performing at a gig, or on set somewhere... only then
would they do something special. their alone time meant a lot to
the both of them, and despite the fact she was a firey little minx,
aziesikah was a sucker for that sort of thing. only problem was,
jack was about an hour late. "please... hurry up jack..." she
murmured softly, closing her eyes momentarily.
