Out of Character
1. Try to keep swearing to a minimum. The site is rated PG-13, so I don't want you dropping the f-bomb every other word. A little is okay, but don't over do it or swearing will be completely banned.
2. I shouldn't have to even say this, but be respectful.
3. Please don't fight in the c-box. It's really very annoying. If you absolutely HAVE to fight, take it to the PMs, PLEASE.
4. You must make a member profile listing your screen name, which is the name you use in the c-box, and all of your characters.
5. You must have a separate account for all of your characters. You can use just one account for all your actual RPing, but the separate accounts make it easier for me to do...organization stuff. And I need all the help I can get with that But since I'll probably never remember to switch accounts, I'm not going to tell you that you have to, either.
6. You get three warnings. With your first warning, you get a reprimand on your account. With the second warning, you will be banned for two weeks. After the third warning, your accounts will be terminated.
7. I (Forte) am the last authority on all things Galaxium. If I tell you that something is being done that is against the rules, please don't argue with me. I'm a pretty nice person, and I'm not going to accuse you of stuff you didn't do.
8. When/if there are other administrators or staff members, please don't argue with them either. If you think one is acting unfairly, talk to me about it.
9. Currently, we don't have a limit on how many characters you can make, as long as you can keep them all active. I don't want to put a limit on this, but if this becomes a problem, I will have to. We would appreciate it if you tried to keep the gender ratio fairly steady as far as students are concerned. I realize there are some people who just can't play a certain gender, but please at least attempt it.
10. Make sure to wait to roleplay your character until after they're accepted.
11. This is the ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF THEM ALL! Have fun! That's what the site is here for, and I want everyone here to enjoy being a member!
In Character
1. No chat-speak in posts.
2. This is a literate site, so I want a 150 word minimum for each post in threads, though we'd appreciate an effort to get to 250 if you can. It seems like a lot, but it's really not. If you don't quite hit 150 every time, that's alright. We're all off our muse once in a while. But if it's happening all the time, you'll be given a warning. This minimum may change in the next few months, depending on people's thoughts on it. By the way, the codeword for your characters is Potatoes.
3. This is pretty standard, but I figure I should probably put it in here: No god-modding or power-playing. Basically, your character isn't God and therefore is not allowed to control other people's movements, and is not immortal.
4. Students and teachers are allowed one (count them, one) special power beyond their wings. This is an add-on, not a requirement. If you would rather your character have no special power, then leave the special powers space on the character bio blank. You get to pick your power, and only two people can have the same power at once.
5. I will decide if a power is appropriate or not. Since you get to pick your own power, I won't be too harsh about this, but please don't make something that allows complete god-modding or powerplaying. Mind control is not allowed, period.
6. In accordance with Proboard rules, no sexual scenes are allowed. Characters are allowed to have boyfriends/girlfriends, but if anything "happens", then have the scene fade to black or take to email. Remember, keep it PG-13 and it'll all be good.
7. Characters are allowed to die/be killed, but ONLY if the member who uses that character okays it and runs it by me. I'm not going to ever tell you that you can't kill your character; it's yours, after all, but I would still like to know.
8. Going with rule 7, don't make characters just to kill them. That's just sick, man.
9. Please use the wing types specified for use in the character board. It'll make things easier on both you and me.
10. Post in third-person ONLY, excluding plot requests and diaries, of course.
11. We're going on liquid time, so your characters can be in as many posts at a time as you can handle!
