[Because of him? Hopkins? I'm talking about Ellen Hopkins, she writes books out of poetry... Are we thinking about the same person?]
Vix finished the book quickly, even with rereading some of the poems. He returned to the shelf and picked another book, and sat back down at the table. It was a book on geometry, not Vix's favorite. After attempting to understand what was being written about the area of a shape Vix couldn't even pronounce, let alone spell, and failing miserably, Vix returned it to its place on the shelf.
After a bit of searching around, he realized the books were organized in a bunch of different ways, which made it extremely easy for him to find exactly what he was looking for. Vix gathered a few books, and went up the counter than had a sign reading "check out". He looked around for a librarian or any sort of worker but couldn't find one, so he stood there and waited, toying with the ends of one of the books.

[Aah. I've referring to the gay-priest-poet, Gerad Manly Hopkins (His name was rather unfortunate xP) Who basically hates himself for being gay and such.]
K:anode was tempted to point out how the geomatry questions were done, but before he had the opportunity, Vix returned the book. He doubted the kid was particularly interested in a maths lesson during his summer break anyway. He seemed a little restless, but K:anode blocked it out, focusing on getting the chapter finished. Eventually he noticed that Vix wanted to check out the books and the librarian had yet to return. "I can sort that out if you want."He offered, walking over and going behind the desk. "She gave me the key pass thing. Seems during summer she likes to take a few more breaks then usual since no one's ever here anyway."He explained as he logged onto the computer and checked off the books.

Vix nodded. "Yeah, thanks." He looked around, then looked down, picking at the hem of his shirt. He looked at K:anode, then back at the entrance of the library. He picked up the books, and scratched the back of his head. "Is there like, a student lounge or something here? Anywhere I could go to read that isn't my dorm or here?" He asked, his voice barely above a hushed murmur. He really needed to work on the whole social interaction thing. He still couldn't manage to have a normal conversation with someone with out at some point making himself look like an idiot who doesn't know how to talk to people because he grew up in group homes. He never really got the chance to make friends growing up and it only made it more difficult to do now, which is why he forces himself to live without any friends at all. He secrets wants at least one though.

K:anode paused, thinking about it for a second. Obviously it hadn't been on his piorty list to find out about student lounges. "Hm, I think so. At the west end."He replied, then gave Vix a curious look. "But there'd be a load of people down there.... You couldn't read in peace."He added. He was both thinking of how difficult it would be to read and how this person didn't really seem to want to know many others. "Really you'd be better off somewhere on the grounds or a classroom."He added walking back to the books. He packed the ones he needed for extra notes into his messenger bag, along with notebook and pens. "The choice of course, is up to you. Though..."He checked his watch, "If you wanna get some lunch, the cafeteria won't be too busy for a while longer."
